ARE YOU ABLE TO TRACK AND REPORT ON REAL TIME PRODUCTION STATISTICS AGAINST LoM PLANS?
PAM 1 allows you to match your actual production to your planned production forecasts.
WHAT IS PAM 1
Microsoft Dynamics Ax Production Accounting Module 1 (PAM 1) is the first module within our Production Accounting software suite that is provided by the xMMP (exploration, Mining and Metals Processing) platform. PAM 1 is your minerals resource planning tool for open cast and underground mining and focuses on the operational aspect of mining which includes planning, booking and surveying.
Short, Medium and Long term plans can be imported from other specialist planning systems, or done in PAM 1.
Planning consists of four components:
Planned vs Actuals
Enables planners to asses planned tons mined vs actual tons mined.
PAM 1 will allow the Life of Main (LOM) (long term plan) to be imported from where it was created, which means you can compare weekly, monthly and yearly plans throughout the actual LOM process. These monthly plans (short term plans) for example are then managed down to contractor/team, workplace, panel and activity level. Using the pre-configured dimensions for each activity, the system can populate the actual tons mined vs total tons planned. The actual production is captured on the basis of a blasting and cleaning tramming/hauling and can be compared with the monthly plan throughout the process (of LOM).
Bookings allows users/mines to assess budgets against the plans throughout the process.
Surveyors will analyse breakage against what was planned and what was actually produced.
PAM 1 will streamline the process between planning vs actuals on the mining production front. This is done by reducing the paper trail and keeping track of what’s happening at the mining face for better planning. Everything is captured within the same system, allowing the planners a view of the current situation, how it impacts the monthly forecast and possibly create new plans to better the production output for the month.
PAM 1 forms part of the PAM suite which means there is no integration necessary between the ERP system and the PAM 1 module as it is imbedded within the xMMP solution that sits within Dynamics Ax. This allows all users, from management level to end users, to report, utilise and improve processes within the same system.
By using the Dynamics AX reporting and role centre engines, proper KPI’s can be defined. KPI’s are not a standard out of the box as it is built according to the customer’s requirements. These KPI’s allow for daily production tracking for teams, individuals and workplace.
