Data integration provider Scribe Software reports it has ended the first quarter of 2014 with record sales and new partnerships. The company says it continued building on its Scribe Online sales success in 2013, increasing its ISV/OEM deals significantly and growing Scribe Online bookings 426% compared to the same time last year.
Scribe doubled its Scribe Online subscriber base to over 400 customers and increased the number of active-selling partners to more than 40. That Online customer count may be a new data nugget. In 2013, a company representative put the global customer base at approximately 12,000.
Scribe also increased its overall presence in the public sector and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Asia) over Q1 2013 (37% and 25% respectively), according to officials.
In the first quarter of 2014, Scribe added real-time cloud data integration functionality to Scribe Online. Now using the platform, customers can create unified business processes that need real-time data integration, mash up customer data from various sources and apps, and uncover key customer information from various sources, officials said.
“The growth and disruption of the cloud is causing line-of-business users and IT professionals, as well as systems integrators and ISVs, to view and value cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-premise integration differently,” said Scribe CEO Lou Guercia, in a statement.
Guercia said Scribe’s focus on building an integration platform so partners and customers can build end-to-end business solutions that integrate easily sets Scribe Online apart from competitors in the market.
